They’ve been tossed out. Mediatonic has done some pretty serious changes with the new update in Fall Guys where for once the old rounds have been changed around for new madness. While Slime Climb and Slime Saloon are still in the annals of rounds, outside are Bubble Trouble and Treasure Trove.
Devo clearly appears to be functioning with ears wide open to whatever the game populace has to say, but, does it ever really become fun in the Ranked or is it always going to be that ordinary frustration sort of thing?
For the morons who haven’t caught up with the gossip, Fall Guys’ Ranked mode is where sweats come out to play. The entire game revolves around trying to climb a frail leaderboard, for that prize egg was salvation for that ill-fated run.
Slime Climb, now, is a fan favorite; brutal fast, with all manner of foreboding annihilation potential. Slime Saloon? Newly minted as the toss-up for players still trying to decipher whether it’s a bane or boon. Meanwhile, Bubble Trouble and Treasure Trove are outta there, thank God, for someone who loathed that RNG-heavy round.
But honestly, whatever rounds they may be, Fall Guys will still be Fall Guys. One jump gone wrong, a sneaky bean bumps you off the ledge, and your hopes for Ranked are suddenly dashed. That’s what makes it fun, right? Or just irritating? It’s tough to tell sometimes.
That’s crazy that the tweet from Mediatonic is empty in terms of responses. People usually have opinions on things like this. Maybe everyone is too busy hitting the ground hard on Slime Climb to even type something. Or the lack of comments indicates… they actually like it? Nah, can’t be. Give it a couple more hours- more than one “literally unplayable” rant for Slime Saloon would have been published.
These days, if you are playing Ranked, keep an eye out for another slick, slippery madness. At least, it won’t be another Hex-a-Gone finale… unless, of course, it is. Hang on, is it? Better check it out.
