What Dr Disrespect announced on Twitter mere moments ago still has me questioning what I just read. No other details were provided, but his new stream is only half an hour away—whispers of ‘new games’ and the absolutely ridiculous huge Battlefield 6 Battle Royale leaks are the very first things off the insane list of daily challenges that he’s trying to check off. Wins with snipers and launchers? Check. 70 kill wins? Check. Till this day, the latter is something that is simply beyond any form of human comprehension.
The way he opened the tweet was classic Doc. Very few streamers can unironically pull off opening lines like that and very few types of Energy can be bottled like that and returned with such ease, and let us tell you, Doc is very good at what he does. It goes without saying most people had no idea it was Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, but a couple of his followers immediately recognized the lyrical snippet and one of them even went and named himself Andrew Burkett.
How about the important part—talking about the BF6 Battle Royale leaks? It should have been important, but of course the spotlight is off the Battlefield community as a whole and doc disrespects comments about the “leaks,” which could mean he has some sort of insider information or early footage that might be broken down. There are plenty of people who have been jokingly sliding over the doc for his “leaks” reason, but this is the kind of person who actually tends to have some shred of truth behind it, so in some circles, people tend to believe him when he talks. For the Battlefield community, this was very critical news since the entire community was wondering “what next” after the mediocre Battlefield 2042.
The tasks he’s giving himself are a little over the top, though. A win using only a sniper? Challenging but within the realm of possibility for someone with his skills. Only using launchers? That’s pure chaos, which is amazing. But 70 kills in a single round? That’s pure showing off, unless there’s some insane bot population. But, like, this is Dr. Disrespect. The guy might get it done.
If we take a second and put some focus on the replies, it’s obvious the community is overall split. To one side, there’s seems to be hype Obey shouting “LFGGGG doc 💪💪💪” and Juan Carlos saying “IS DOC TIME BABY!!!” complete with fire emojis, and on the other side, the negative comments start to appear. With the username Lre420 responding with “Enough with this unwatchable slop” and then Liaxd299 adding what I assume is related to some ‘never ending’ old controversies.
The retardery around BobbyPoff is strangely common—maybe a meme about not blinking during streams? BobbyPoff, the man of the hour, is still stirring up the nonsense, with Kevin O’Connor’s comment to BobbyPoff, “You’re def not blinking once during the 70 kill challenge 😂😂” just adding fuel to the ongoing stream lore. Doc’s streams are not simple games—they are personality, drama, and entertainment.
The interesting part is the Battlefield BR discussion in the replies. MarioWyme broke the facts: “It’s been there before dude! Firestorm was a disaster. BF doesn’t need a B royal,” which actually is a somewhat legit point. Using Firestorm from Battlefield V was, to say the least, very underwhelming, but with the modern setting next Battlefield comes with, maybe they can hit it right this time. Doc might have the answers.
The sheer mix of game requests is insane. We got people requesting Arma Reforger, DayZ and so much more. ELSauceo went as far as saying “Play some dayz doc😏,” as if Tweeting at Dr Disrespect is enough to get him to play retail games. This sort of engagement is normal with the community though. The doc prides himself in engaging with the fans.
Some people can be really fun with their replies. For example, Raymundo Rodriguez going with saying, “MY PANTS ARE TOO TIGHT!!!” I don’t have the faintest clue what that means or if it’s some Doc reference. And ManoloCalifas making a joke about a “12 hr stream to make up for the Snoozefest Doc?” which pops the idea that maybe the previous stream was subpar to the level of quality he usually brings.
Mixing hype with hate is the most interesting. You have doc_didntdoit making wild allegations to which right below you have someone named hankfromthehill commenting with “Have an amazing day 2 time 🤝” in a very oddly overly optimistic manner. It seemingly looks like two different worlds colliding and the one tweet’s reply section.
The reason for the Dr Disrespect headline is undisputed. For better or worse, people are talking. The mention of the Battlefield 6 Battle Royale leaks is going to make the entire gaming community speculate. Is EA actually working on a BR mode for the next Battlefield? After the mediocre failure of Firestorm, that would be a strange move.
Even the challenges themselves tell the story—this is not just for fun. Dr Disrespect is planning an insane sniper only, launchers only, and that 70 plus kills challenge stream and that last one especially—in what game even? Warzone? Apex? Guess we just have to tune in.
The energy in the replies is what you would expect from Doc’s community in the best ways possible. From the supporters to the doubters everyone is involved. And the thumbnail everyone is talking about? GodOFDisrespect said it is ‘comedy gold,’ so definitely it is going to be a good one.
Doc has a massive impact on the streaming industry. Whichever side one is on, he has. Attention spikes on his remarks—‘leaks’ means something to the larger audience. People pay attention when he sets outrageous challenges. A single tweet from him can make the entire gaming community pause. The rumors about the beastfield BR suffice to spark a conversation but add that in with a little preview this will surely be stream everyone is too excited to miss.
Given that, if you are interested in gaming news or bonkers challenges, this is as terrific as a invitation as it gets. Dr Disrespect will be streaming soon with potentially major Battlefield updates, alongside the ridiculous attempts a gameplay tryout in the 70 plus kill challenge. Nobody knows if he’s going to pull it off but the effort alone is he is surely worth watching.
