Apocalypse!” Okay, so basically this is some brand new concept art for a weapon in the next Doom game, called the Skullcrusher, and it fires skulls. The tweet effectively says: “‘class=skullcrusher | gun=the pulverizer’ and the internet exploded ever since! Now we have serious hype here because fans are really gushing over the brutal and creative designs on this thing. Would it be enough for some of you to no-life the game when it gets released?
The concept art that this tweet showed is all very nasty and pretty metallic-like, kind of spiky in design, about blocking in those incoming skulls into the faces of Demons.
One user, MichioJunNegron, went right into “@DOOM HR Giger Gun,” and that kind of says the whole thing. Another fan, CrimsonHeart62 went, “@DOOM Forget the skulls for the skull throne, i need that shit for ammo.” Haha, facts! Who needs a throne when you got a skull-launching gun?
MirrorEdge445 tweeted “@DOOM Honestly? the most creative weapon design in the series BY FAR”. I mean, are they wrong tho?!
Some guys compared it to something outside of Doom, though. MoronicHybrid tweeted “@DOOM Its the contraption from spongebob” LOL! I get it! Another gamer, totallytarnished, retweeted, “@DOOM @DarthSateus the squidward machine i am the tarnished.” Spongebob in Doom!!? Someone get the modders on that stat.

“Is this the new shotgun?” Ohmwrecker asked, the design is awesome! Which leads us to the question, is that replacing the Super Shotgun? There are some big shoes to fill there, my dude.

Okay, moving on to PremiumRonnie unleashing pure toxicity with a horrible comment – I’m not even about to say that. Good for the most part, though, just hype about the gun.

Ch1caNugg3ts was thinking about Fortnite “@DOOM Will this gun make an appearance as a Fortnite mythic? – That’d be so much fun in spam sweat with fort.” Can you imagine? This would be pretty cool in Fortnite.
There were also some doubts, “@DOOM NGL, but even though trailer footages are meant to display guns that are meaty and powerful in terms of action cuts, this still makes it look like a pea shooter.” -that would suck if it looks good but doesn’t pack a punch.
Z_dog_64 had a missed opportunity saying: “@DOOM I thought I would have called it the head cannon.” Dude, that’s genius! Bethesda take notes!
“Looks cool,” said DeathCold1993. “But now I wonder how it works practically. I mean, I saw in the trailers but I doubt it would be able to crush those skulls with those small discs with spikes. There’s got to be more to it than that.” Yes, a little suspension of disbelief may be required… but who cares when you’re blasting demons with skulls?

Some had begun arguing in the replies. Some say this looks too much minigun while others say this is auto shotgun or Unmaker! What am I saying again?
So yeah, the Skullcrusher is causing a lot of havoc online and for a magnificent reason: it’s brutal, creative, and fits very well with the whole doom aesthetic. Let’s hope it lives up to that hype when the game finally gets released!
