There’s been a big leak stating that the Disney-Fortnite collaboration would not just be addition of some outfit skin-a lot of actual lore and cinematics are involved here. Now you truly know. This ain’t just Mickey Mouse running around with the pickaxe anymore!

Some players call it “Disney Infinity 4.0,” while others jokingly called it “Kingdom Hearts but without Square Enix.” To be honest, it’s hardly a stretch. If this mode really weaves Disney characters into the lore of Fortnite, then maybe it’s the weirdest crossover since…well, the very existence of Fortnite.
So how does it look? So grim is the situation regarding its informatory aspects that, given the leak, we hear it’s a narrative-driven experience with cutscenes. Huge from a usual collab where the developers just slap a character model on and say their job is done. RIP to all the memesters theorizing how far this could even go — will Mickey Mouse have to battle alongside Jonesy? Will Elsa freeze the Zero Point? Just thinking about these memes is making me laugh so hard.
Reactions down in the reply are all over the place within the players. Some, such as @Magik_IRL, are pretty hyped, saying this and Lego Fortnite will “keep me sane.” Others, such as @Rezztro, simply stated, “Still not interested. One thing we know for sure is the fact that Epic is taking this partnership with Disney seriously. If these rumors are true, then this might be one of the biggest crossovers Fortnite has ever been host to. Come to think of it, whether right or wrong, it is impossible to ignore this one.
So keep an eye out because if Disney and Fortnite are indeed messing around with a story mode, there’ll be chaos unleashed, both for good and bad. Or weird. Maybe both.
