Season 10 of Diablo 4 is just around the corner, and players are excited about what’s coming to the game. With every season, comes new mechanics, systems, and plenty of loot. So, you’ll want to make sure you’re in fighting shape, by preparing your builds and amassing your stock of Diablo IV Gold. Here’s everything you need to know about Diablo 4 Season 10: Infernal Chaos.
Changes to PTR Livestreams for Diablo 4 Season 10
Unlike previous seasons, Season 10 will not feature a Public Test Realm (PTR) livestream for players. These livestreams typically feature gameplay for the new season and are released alongside the patch notes. A PTR livestream was originally in the books for Season 10, but was unfortunately canceled.
This marked a noticeable change for Blizzard, with the developers announcing that they’ll host a Sanctuary Sitdown on their Discord Server instead, where players can ask as many questions as they’d like about the game. The decision to cut the livestream was so that the team could focus more on revamping their streams in preparation for Season 10’s launch.
Luckily, the PTR will still be available for players to try. So be on the lookout for more announcements and updates on Diablo’s social media pages.
Release Date
Based on Blizzard’s Diablo IV 2025 Roadmap, Season 10 will be rolling out on September 23, 2025, nearly a month after Path of Exile 2 drops their next major update. For the Exiles out there, be sure to stock on PoE 2 currency too before jumping into Season 10 of Diablo 4, where you immediately pick up where Season 9 left off.
Seasonal characters will be transferred to the Eternal Realm once Season 10 starts. This means that for those wanting to participate in Season 10, they’ll need to create a new character to fully experience the new features, mechanics, and systems.
New Seasonal Powers: Chaos Powers
Just like in previous seasons, there’ll be new modifiers being added to the game. In Season 10, they’ll be called Chaos Powers, and function the same as Horadric, Boss, and Vampiric Powers. They’ll also be customizable, meaning players can build their spells with the new Chaos Powers. The number of Chaos Powers hasn’t been specified, so players will have to wait for the PTR.
New Seasonal Activity: Infernal Hordes
The new seasonal activity may sound familiar, since it was actually added over a year ago, and is now making a comeback. Infernal Hordes are one of the most efficient endgame activities in Diablo 4. They allow players to farm for Obducite, Gem Fragments, and Gear.
Fortunately, the Infernal Hordes will get updates even after Season 10 ends and will become a permanent fixture in the game.
New Reliquaries
Reliquaries will remain available in Season 10, with the freebie and the three premium ones still available for players. Details on what the items will be, and cosmetics haven’t been revealed yet, so players will just have to wait and see.
New Uniques and Legendaries
Just like in previous updates, new Uniques and Legendaries will also be coming to Season 10. And with it, expect the introduction of new Aspects and Uniques for all 6 classes. This could mean that certain existing items will be worked into Skill Trees.
How to Join Season 10’s Public Test Realm (PTR)
If you want to try out Season 10 early, you can hop on the PTR, but it’s only available for PC so console players will have to sit this one out. You’ll also need a Battle.net account. Here’s what you need to do to get access:
– Open the Battle.net app.
– Select Diablo IV in your games list.
– In the Game Version menu, which is usually above the play button, select Public Test Realm.
– Click Install to download and install the PTR client.
– Once installed, you can launch the PTR and create a test character.
Once you’ve joined the PTR, you can test out the new content and provide feedback to Blizzard regarding issues you may encounter while playing.
That wraps up everything you need to know about Diablo 4 Season 10. More updates will be coming, especially with the Sanctuary Sitdown. So, sit back and get ready to rock and roll.
