Death Stranding 2’s Cryptobiotes might be Sam’s celebrity acclaim, but now it is the turn of gamers at large to taste these tiny wriggling creatures- kind of. PS Twitter posted a wild tweet featuring a video of food actualized from the game’s freakish crawling health buffs, and the reactions? Well, let’s just say that they featured a whole lot of diversity.
The tweet showed a somewhat eerie picture of some gelatinous, wormy snack with the cryptic caption “Sam’s hunger somewhat satiated 🪱,” linking to an article that analyzes the strange culinary collaboration. And, really, that kind of weirdness is Kojima production all over.
The community was behind it. “I know what I’ll have for dinner,” joked one of them, while another added the words, “so funny.” Not all were amused.
