One of the more anticipated games of 2020 is without a doubt Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt Red. It is shaping up to be one of the more diverse and memorable RPGs in recent memory. Based on all of the details and trailers that have come out, it’s hard to find fault with anything the developer has done at this current time.

Unfortunately, interested gamers won’t be able to experience its intricate choice system or awesome-looking character augments this April. The coronavirus has forced the developer to push back the date, something many devs have had to do in response to this pandemic. CD Projekt moved the launch date from April to September.

And based on a recent overview conference from CD Projekt Red, September will still be the launch month despite the crew now working on the game from home. Alas, there just may be some light at the end of the tunnel after all. According to CEO Adam Kicinski, the team has all of the tools necessary to complete the finishing touches by September.

Not only that, but their passion is still alive and well. That has always been one thing you could count on from this developer. This team puts their hearts and souls into every project they work on. They know how much fans care about their games and always try to do right by them in every major way possible.

There are no guarantees in life, especially in the gaming industry, but it seems like September is when gamers can see what Night City has to offer. It’s looking to be an incredible backdrop to an incredible story, featuring interesting NPCs with detailed backstories. Each district in Night City is distinct and teaming with personality. The very nature of exploring in Cyberpunk 2077 seems like it could provide hours and hours of memorable moments.

Then you have the choice system that will immerse you in the lore even more. Every action you do can shape the story in some way, for better or for worse. And the augmentations. They seem limitless. Whether you want to be a stealth-based hacker or take the fight to enemies, CD Projekt Red has given you so many paths to go down.

Let’s just hope the developer doesn’t run into any unforeseen roadblocks and are able to deliver the game this September. The excitement is at an all-time high as players wait for a game that could revolutionize the industry after its release.
