It’s pretty clear that Cyberpunk 2077 is not for the faint of heart. CD Projekt Red is including a lot of graphic content in this upcoming RPG, which is great news if you like games that really go for it. However, this has caused a lot of Australian gamers some apprehension.

You see, the Classification Board in this country is pretty strict with games that include a lot of violence, drugs, and sex. Since Cyberpunk 2077 is going all out in each one of these departments, many gamers in this country have worried about the title being censored in some capacity.

Fortunately, they can take a big sigh of relief as the Board just gave Cyberpunk 2077 an R18+ rating. It’s given to games with strong themes of violence and sex. What this ultimately means is those in Australia will in fact have the same experience as others around the globe when this game officially releases in September.

If you’re a hardcore gamer, you always want the full experience. Censorship ruins a lot of aspects and makes gamers wonder what could have been. It’s nice to see the Classification Board moving forward with the R18+ rating for Australian gamers. They’ll be getting all of the violence, sex, and drugs that they can handle.

As for the rest of the gaming community, everyone is excited about Cyberpunk 2077’s pending release. It’s unfortunate that the release date was pushed back, but that just means the developer has even more time to refine various aspects as to give gamers an optimal experience.

There are so many promising aspects of this RPG, from the open-ended design of Night City to the bevy of augmentations that you’ll have access to for your created character. If there was a game that should be at the top of your list for 2020, it’s Cyberpunk 2077.

Rarely ever does a game receive as much hype and attention as this title. It has been in the oven for a while and the gaming community is getting a little restless waiting to experience its awesome visuals and gameplay. Fortunately, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Just a couple of more months of waiting before we can finally see its true potential. Everything is trending in the right direction, fortunately.
