Among the gaming headphones that are standing among the rest is the Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless and the Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless SE. Bot headphones offer a sleek design, comfortable earmuffs, and a solid audio performance.
To start, these gaming accessories are not Bluetooth-enabled, but RF headsets, meaning they can be used for wireless communications via radio waves. The gaming accessory can only be applied using a transmitter dongle.
The Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless is a real PC and console headset, but can also be used using the included USB-C connection wires or the 3.5mm connection cables. The Type-C cable can also be used for charging the headphone.
On the outside, both models sport soft padding and ultra-comfortable faux leather ear cuffs. It also has padded headbands made of the same leather material. The Corsair Virtuoso offers a comfortable wear and without the heat of the leather ear cups, for a whole day gaming.
On top of that, the headbands are perfectly fitted, allowing its wearer to position them without pulling their hair. The standard model comes with matte white and carbon black selections, while the high-end SE model comes in gunmetal with accents of matte black.
Corsair is known to make some of the most standout headphones in the market, including the HS70 and the Void Pro Series. This new line, though, has some of the most stylish outward features including the side lightings which changes colors and the capacity to create design customizations. This range from a tiny ship to a small screen. Nonetheless, the concept is amusing, and you would often find yourself staring at the transitions.
The new Corsair peripheral features a 7.1 surround sound with the 9.5mm high-bandwidth microphones. It comes with a 50mm neodymium driver for that beautiful sound articulation and impeccable tone clarity.
The strongest selling point of both the Virtuoso models come from the professional-grade microphones, which has a 10,000Hz response frequency. The high-performance rating is most likely given to the SE version because of its 9.5mm mic capsule size.
Both models, though, possess the same connectivity capacity with up to 60ft range via its wireless modules. The Corsair Virtuoso RGB comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and USB port connections.
The non-SE variant is priced at $179.99 while the higher-end Virtuoso RGB SE comes in at $209.99.
