If you enjoy games with a cyberpunk theme, there are a lot of great offerings right now. One of the more noteworthy is Cloudpunk, a game about making deliveries in a flying car.

It has been received well since launching back in April, featuring vibrant colors and a competent sci-fi backdrop.

Ever since it released, there has been just one third-person perspective. However, an update just came out that has introduced a first-person perspective. So if you’ve ever wondered just how more immersive and unique Cloudpunk could get, it’s definitely worth checking out.

The update is completely free on Steam right now and it definitely makes driving around the futuristic city a memorable experience. You feel more in control of the vehicle and get to enjoy adrenaline-fueled experiences every time you weave past traffic up in the sky.

Some trailers have started coming in showing players using the zoomed-in camera angle. It makes Cloudpunk stand out even more in the visual department.

There are shots of users walking across a busy metropolis, where neon signs and vibrant color are everywhere. It certainly paints a promising picture for the upcoming game Cyberpunk 2077, which is slated to come out in September from CD Projekt Red.

It’s important to note that the first-person camera isn’t available in the vehicle if you’re ascending or descending. However, the game’s developer ION LANDS has plans of supporting this feature in a future update.

For now, though, Cloudpunk is a pretty game that takes the idea of delivering packages to a whole new level.

While driving around the city of Nivalis as Rania, you have the chance to meet a diverse cast of characters with interesting backstories. There is always something fantastic to see and memorable missions to accept.

The further you get in this game, the more secrets and great content you’ll be able to unlock. Now that a first-person camera is supported, you should be able to enjoy the game’s city in a more personal way.

It’s great to see a game like Cloudpunk receiving this spotlight. It really is a hidden gem that has a lot to offer right out of the gate. From driving a flying car to interacting with a plethora of NPCs, this game will keep your attention all the way through.

Who knows how much better it can get with future updates from the developer? The sky seems to be the limit.
