Blizzard has been hard at work on balancing the endgame content of their latest expansion, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. The latest batch of alterations is set to come out tomorrow with the weekly reset.

This particular patch includes a variety of balance changes, but the bulk of these are targeting the current raid tier, Castle Nathria. There’s a lot to get into, so let’s hop straight in!

The first change is coming to Artificer Xy’mox, with a considerable nerf hitting the boss. Glyph of Destruction and Withering Touch are both having their damage nerfed by up to 20%, depending on group size. This change only affects Raid Finder, Normal, and Heroic difficulties.

Sun King’s Salvation – often more referred to as Kael’thas – is having a nerf hit the adds of the boss encounter rather than the boss directly. Soul Infusers, Vile Occultists, Bleakwing Assassins, Pestering Fiends, and the Rockbound Vanquishers’ health have all been reduced by 10% on all difficulties except mythic.

Lady Inerva Darkvein has four considerable nerfs coming, with the encounter often considered one of the hardest in the raid. These changes all are coming only to Normal and Heroic difficulties, with Raid Finder and Mythic unaffected.

Darkvein will now throw fewer bottles depending on the size of the raid on both difficulties, and her Anima Web will do up to 20% less damage. Shared Suffering has had its damage reduced by up to 20% as well, and the base health for the adds summoned during the fight has also been reduced.

Sludgefist has a few nerfs, as well as a fix that was causing Heroic’s Chain Slam to scale damage incorrectly. Colossal Roar will be doing less damage on Raid Finder, Normal, and Heroic difficulties. Chain Slam has also had its damage reduced by up to 35% on Heroic difficulty.

Stone Legion Generals have had their encounter changed more than any others. Damage scaling has been decreased by 25% on Raid Finder and Normal (33% on Heroic) for 10-player raids and increased by 10% (17% for Heroic) for 30-player raids.

The Stone Legion Goliath and Skirmishers have both had their health decreased on Mythic difficulty by 11.1% and 10% respectively. There have also been a variety of changes to the number of players targeted or affected by Heart Rend, Seismic Upheaval, and Wicked Laceration.

The final change comes to Sire Denathrius, affecting the second phase of his encounter. Crimson Cabalists have had their health reduced by up to 10% for Raid Finder, Normal, and Heroic difficulties.
