Ubisoft has placed its foot right in the scrum of gamer circles with an announcement that the much sought-after New Game+ mode with Assassin’s Creed Shadows will drop this Tuesday. New Game+ allows the replaying of the story with everything from character level to gear, Knowledge Rank, and Hideout progress maintained-these things really stir up the flavor of one’s particular playthough.
The official Assassin’s Creed tweet sends shockwaves across all social media. Players such as @xDarkWiffster exclaimed, “MEEEE!! I’ve never been so ready to restart π₯°”, while @bum_lao confesses they haven’t even finished the main story yet, but the NG+ option is a clear winner for them. Classic gamer-dilemmas.
Then some responses turned…ugly. @Vicodin10_ took a shot, “Too late. Sw already did that. Anywys the game sucks,” while @DryKillLogic81 weighed in on a character design controversy, then maybe reconsidered. On the other hand, @jobeagle5 said that shall delay until facial animations are fixed because it seems gamers shall never be satisfied whatever devs do.

The frustration still lingers, @john_taylor95 demanding yet another time, “Give Valhalla it aswell π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€,” which actually makes Ubisoft untouchable-because when they add features to the new games, players want the old ones to get them retroactively too.
The most wholesome moment? Probably when @Fabiatriz just posted “ππΊππΎ β€οΈ”. So simple. So pure. We stan such character appreciation.
The Summer Roadmap video linked in that tweet shows that more content is planned on down the pipeline, showing Ubisoft might keep the game fresh for months. So much to look forward to, if you’re looking to do NG+ straight away or hang on through your first play. Unless you’re @Theotakufrog, whose credit card company believes this game is “too violent” (which is…a very limited conversation).
Yes, Tuesday’s update hype is a bit too real. The replies offer a nice mixture of excitement, skepticism, and a particular brand of gamer chaos we all adore. Now if you excuse me, I should get to finishing the main story before NG+ drops…or maybe just start a fresh game after all. Who’s in?
