Ubisoft now provides its new ‘Assassin’s Creed Franchise Fan Kit’ which permits users to download and distribute the kit. The official Assassin’s Creed social media account announced the free digital kit which contains artwork and assets from the series. The gaming community has shown immediate mixed reactions to this release which demonstrates the gap between what the company provides and what long-time players request.
Ubisoft released this product to the public. The “Fan Kit” functions as a free product. The free stuff is cool I guess. The package contains wallpapers and some icons and probably some social media banners which display the Assassin’s Creed logo in a sleek design. The developers declared “You asked for it” which stands as… a choice. The gamers requested many things who wanted to get more than a zip file containing PNGs.
The response produced complete disorder according to all reports. All AC fan requests from the last decade appeared when the event began. The situation turned negative from the beginning. The game presented its first observation to people about its missing classic heroes. The question people asked was “Where’s Altair? WHERE’S EZIO? People were legit upset. One player, badbunny917086, just posted a picture of Ezio with the caption “Where’s the legend?” and honestly, mood. Gartos_CZ asked “Where are the good assassins?” then proceeded to list Altair Desmond Ezio Connor and Edward as examples. The kit targets the newer RPG-era protagonists yet the original characters should receive equal treatment because all players want to maintain their favorite characters.
The complete roster from the original game appeared. The players who used newer games experienced feelings of exclusion. The comments showed that multiple players wanted Alexios from Odyssey and Eivor’s male version from Valhalla to appear. Gabriel807 explained that “It sucks you don’t have Alexios for odyssey or male Eivor.” The franchise kit exists as a franchise kit while the company created half of the franchise.

Prince of Persia belongs to all his fans.
The future of the games follows various paths. Zachary Donaldson (Ztd36) went on a whole rant: “I ready hope the next title has an actual assassin in it. The RPG style games with powers have become tiresome to me. We want to play as assassins in the next Unity sequel which lets us play with our friends. The community shows divided opinions which prefer either the stealth gameplay or the present action-RPG style of gaming. Another player, david_choya, begged for a new game with Ezio or Connor as the main character again, saying their stories are “too good.”
The players demanded co-op mode when Shyaa asked “Okay but coop when,” and they wanted a second Assassin’s Creed Shadows DLC, which Gabe provided, and they wanted an Assassin’s Creed physical encyclopedia. Corpse asked, “What i want is an Assassin’s Creed Encyclopedia 3.0 actually…does that exist yet?” The entire concept emerged from games while it developed into a study of the entire lore of the game. The user named InPassing222 helped users with broken links by fixing their problems and making an alternative link which fans of Ezio, Alexios, and male Eivor could use. CharlesDoesArt called them a rock star, and they were right. The community exists at this point because gamers help others when official resources fail to meet their needs.
The entire situation demonstrates two truths about the Assassin’s Creed community. The Assassin’s Creed fan group contains many enthusiastic members who represent a wide range of backgrounds. The group contains players who want to see the old game style return while new players want their selected character to be present in the new RPG style and players who want to see remakes of past AC games and Prince of Persia games and players who want to play with their buddies. The crowd needed more than a basic asset pack to fulfill their demands. The small act shows goodwill but it feels inadequate because it does not fulfill the many expectations people hold. The players show their liking for free content, and many enjoy their games on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
