Respawn has dropped yet another mysterious Apex Legends teaser, along with that cryptic caption: “He’s never missed a target. No reason to start today 🏹.” Narrating players are claiming to be losing their minds; but frankly, it is not so good. The replies are a chaotic combination of hype, friction, and outright demands from the community.
The teaser image depicts what appears to be a bow (new legend?), but players are far too occupied bashing the current state of the game to entertain the prospect of new content. One player basically bluntly told them, “You seem to have missed the target guys,” complaining about cheating on all platforms. Ouch. Others are begging for buffs: Octane mains keep screaming into the void (again), Valk mains are begging for some love, and someone wants Lifeline skins that don’t involve “baggy pants.” Priorities, people!
And then there were the complaints about lore. “Give us real lore. What is this. Hard to stay positive about this game,” one player tweeted. Another was asking what the fictional language was utilized in the season 20 trailer, indicating that some fans have gone way deeper into this universe than Respawn could ever imagine.
And the drama? Dispute over the weapon designs. One guy went full detective mode in trying to analyze the similarities between the guns but was dismissed with, “Bro you’re putting too much thought into this lol.” Classic moment for the Apex community.
Streamers advertising their channels, players reporting bugs (I see you, Revenant spotlight pass), and then somebody just casually dropped a gem in the chat, “tell Artemis I said pspsps,” like it was the most normal thing to say.
The takeaway: Apex players were never casual, organized, and calm about anything they wanted. Buffs, anticampi, lore; the wishlist is extensive. Will Respawn listen? Who knows. But one thing is sure: the more they tease and don’t listen to player concerns, that bow better come with notes for a serious patch.
Oh, and while you’re dusting yourself on the drama, check out Saturate-the name goes with a creator-and is grinding out Predator. Could be worth your time.
