According to a new report from a reliable source, Activision has several unannounced remakes in the works, all of which are scheduled to be released within the next year or two.
The Gaming Revolution, who typically provides accurate inside information regarding what’s going on at Activision, as he’s reporting that two Crash Bandicoot titles are in the works, one of which will be a new game that is being described as a PVP title, while the other will be a remake of The Wrath of Cortex, which was the fourth game in the series, and the first to not be developed by Naughty Dog. It was originally released for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox back in 2001.
Also according to The Gaming Revolution, Activision is working on remastering the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, which was reported last year, as the devs were, at the time, play-testing the title. Also, it’s been reported that the remastered game will feature assets from the first three titles in the franchise.
Some Activision games in the works: Tony Hawk Proskater Remastered, Call of Duty 2020 (code-named PROJECT: ZEUS), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, a free to play Call of Duty game from Sledgehammer Games (2021 ETA), a PvP Crash Bandicoot game, and Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex Remastered,” said The Gaming Revolution over on Twitter.
Of course, TGR also said that Activision is also working on the follow-up to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

There’s also a replacement for Destiny in the works, but so far, there’s been no additional information provided on what it’ll be, or whether or not it’ll be a brand new IP.
Most of the aforementioned games seem like a no-brainer, with the only questionable one being the Crash Bandicoot PVP title. As of right now, we don’t have any details on what the reported PVP title will include, but it may be a new Crash Team Racing, as the remake of the original — titled Nitro-Fueled — was a huge success following its release last summer.
As of right now, it’s unclear when Activision will decide to reveal their new games, but if they’re going to be released within the next two years, then we should expect to see them get revealed sometime later this year.
Nothing is official until it’s been announced, but given The Gaming Revolution’s track record with leaks, it’s very safe to assume that his latest reports are accurate.
