Everyone and their mother is raving about Cyberpunk 2077. It’s being propped up to great heights, and rightfully so. Everything we know about the game already seems amazing.

The game, called Cyberpunk Red, is an official prequel to Cyberpunk 2077. The Jumpstart Kit that CD Projekt Red and R. Talsorian Games helped create is officially live for anyone looking to get a taste of this universe before the official video game comes out later next year.
The designer, Mike Pondsmith, has been busy trying to unify both timelines and also update the lore. Judging by people’s feedback of this tabletop game, he’s done a great job. In the set, there are a lot of little goodies. These include a rulebook, character sheets, character standees, vehicle tokens, reference handouts, and battle maps.
There will also be a digital version for those who want to take their Cyberpunk adventures to the computer. All in all, this starter kit seems like a complete setup that should streamline players’ experiences.
You won’t have to go out and buy other resources, wasting time and money. Everything you need to get started is already included. What also makes this tabletop game easier to play are the pre-generated characters. You won’t have to spend hours figuring out how to customize your player. You can just pick someone and get started on an epic adventure.
There are total of nine roles included in this game. There are a pool of 10 stats as well, which you’ll want to focus on to determine how your player will be rated. Another huge highlight of this tabletop game are the variety of activities you can engage in. It should give you and your friends plenty of gaming content to look forward to.
To help ease you into this lore, a 50-page World Book has been included. It essentially lets you know what’s happened to Night City, as well as breaks down the state of the current world.
