Though there are talks about Caps and Perkz swapping roles once again, Perkz said that he’s happy with the team’s current state while streaming on Twitch. In terms of past performances, Fnatic and G2 were always close to each other. Most best-of-five matches between the two League of Legends teams went to that fifth game and the fans loved the thrill. Last split, though, things changed. G2 looked shaky at first in the playoffs after suffering a shocking defeat to MAD Lions. But all of the players on G2 were able to keep a positive mindset and started playing at their best in the rest of the Spring playoffs. Now that MSI is canceled, fans will have to wait to see the improved G2 on the global stage. But according to Perkz, G2 is confident and planning to keep up their performance until the next international tournament. The recent role swap of Perkz and Caps worked out perfectly. Even though the team reached the finals of the World Championship in 2019, they lost 0-3 to FunPlus Phoenix in the end. They decided to do one experiment and change Perkz with Caps roles to see how it would work out. After the early games, the community was criticizing Caps since he did not live up to the hype he had in the mid-lane. In the end, he came back much stronger and proved the haters wrong. He got the most valuable player in some series after his superb display of skill on Aphelios, Kalista, and Ezreal. Even though he is much stronger on mages in the bot lane, Caps still manages to show up a superb display of skill on ADCs. We will be looking at how they'll play next Split.
