Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a trailer of the upcoming Musou-style game One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4. The trailer is focused on the series protagonist Luffy and the fighting style he will be using in the upcoming title. This version of the trailer specifically showcases content from that of the New World part of the One Piece series.

Luffy has been on a long quest, and this game only brings his skills even further. Watch as he destroys thousands of Marine soldiers showing off the upcoming One Piece game. The Marines are often antagonists for the future king of the pirates, and any game that lets players give them a good thwacking is sure to be an instant classic for fans of the series.

There are tons of gameplay trailers showing off other members of the infamous Straw Hat pirates. You can find a video showing playable Kaido and Big Mom and another showing the iconic Alabasta story arc on the official Bandai Namco youtube channel.

Fans have been excited for this upcoming title since the gameplay reveal at the Tokyo Game Show. Fans had a chance to see Carrot in action and a ton of screenshots featuring Luffy Fourth Gear Snakeman and Charlotte Katakuri.

The Musou-style game was coined by the Dynasty Warriors series. The games revolved around large scale combat on huge maps where players coordinated their forces in a battle for territory control.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 takes this core concept of territory control and sets one pirate gang against another. Players will find themselves battling hordes of an enemy crew or even the authority of the Marines. With careful strategy and a mean right hook, players can thrash their way to victory and earn their own right to be the pirate king.

Although the game appears complicated at first, fans across the world enjoy the Musou-style. Every year there seems to be a new game taking on this style and bringing new fans into the genre. The modes are adaptable and fit almost any anime, plus they seem to be the current kings at large scale fantasy combat.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is set to be released early in 2020. The official date set is March 27, 2020. The game is destined for a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC release. No matter what platform you play this game on, you are sure to enjoy the high-speed combat mixed with your series favorite characters.
