Razer started with this collab for Zenless Zone Zero and with timing so perfect. Like ZZZ is literally Fiery, and everyone is in love with Miyabi and her fox ears; and Razer walks on in with…a chair, a keyboard, a mouse, and a mousepad? But what about the item that everyone really wanted?
The official Razer tweet included the new collection consisting of the Razer Iskur V2 X gaming chair, Razer BlackWidow V4 X keyboard, Razer Cobra mouse, and Razer Gigantus V2 Medium mousepad, all bearing Miyabi themes from Zenless Zone Zero in this slick white and pink combo. Pre-orders are available on their website, but gamers are already reporting some… problems.
And by problems, I mean the comment section was blanketed by questions concerning WHERE ARE THE MIYABI FOX EARHEADPHONES????. It was literally every third reply. @DerSisch outright asked, “Where are the Miyabi Fox Ear Headphones?!” and @Rickslx responded with “bro where are the miyabi headphones,” as if it was the most obvious thing ever. Which it kinda is???
And this is just the tip of the iceberg. Gamers have pointed out quite major issues with freakin’ drop of this collab. @Hunt3rLuxe called it an “insane fumble” that they utilize a 100% layout keyboard with the Cobra mouse combo. @Imscaredbean and @rya_aka are on their knees asking for more keyboard layouts since it’s US-only, leaving international gamers out in the cold. @SKurokaze brutally put it: “BOOO Can’t have the UK Layout with the Miyabi keys?? Wtf is this?…”
Then there is the wired mouse scenario. @NineOwnWish called it a “Big L for the wired mouse,” which in 2024 feels kinda outdated not gonna lie. @VexingLive mentioned that the keyboard switches cannot be changed, which seems to be a missed chance for customization. And @baboulibob is annoyed that you cannot purchase the mousepad and mouse separately, like, why bundle everything together?
Then, some gamers are already sore on stocks. @Hiori198 tweeted, “oh my god it’s already out of stock in JP,” implying the kind of popularity that might be there or under-produced. Most likely both considering how these collabs always proceed.
Loudest is the headphones issue. @ArtyXo_png said, “No headphones 💔”; the next was @spadedarrows, “no headset…….” @SussyTako regretted there’s no BlackShark V3 Pro or any headset, for that matter, with the Miyabi fox ears, tagging Razer big boss Min-Liang Tan in the post. @RoyalZK juxtaposed it with an example of Pokemon getting a headset collab whilst Miyabi gets “the chair with some gear man.”
Even some German players in the comments are exploring the layout issues. @IksWaiKam complained about US-only; @DrexCS2 replied anyone who uses ISO layout should seek… psychological help – which is harsh but kinda funny, honestly.
If you’re into the Zenless Zone Zero aesthetic, this collection is gorgeous through and through. The white and pink color way is perfect for Miyabi’s vibe, and the keycaps feature some custom artwork. The chair captures that same design philosophy; however, no one seems to be talking much about the chair (which says a lot).
The pre-orders are now live, but given the reaction, they may just want to reconsider certain elements. Those fox ear headphones every single soul seems to be pleading for, maybe? Perhaps keyboards with more layouts? Could that mouse go wireless? Just throwing out some ideas on behalf of a community who clearly loves both Razer gear and Zenless Zone Zero.
It’s interesting to see how particular gamers are about their gear. Like @vinheim says, if they can just buy the keycaps separately since they already own a BlackWidow V4. That would actually be the smart move: sell the customization options individually. Instead, they bundle everything in specific configurations that don’t work for everyone.
That said, the collab remains pretty cool. Zenless Zone Zero is one of the freshest hot right now, and Miyabi is for sure a fan fave. Officially getting gear for her would be something a lot of the players want. They just want it to be… better. And with those damn headphones everyone keeps talking about.
Maybe Razer will take the feedback and run with it, taking the collection further. They’ve done multiple waves for other collabs before. Or maybe this will be as far as it goes, and gamers will have to suck it up with what they’re given. Either way, the attention this drop got shows how much the players can care about their gaming gear in terms of both use and looks. And how much they really want those Miyabi fox ears on that headset.
So yeah, if you are into Zenless Zone Zero and would like some themed gear, go check out the Razer collab. But maybe keep your expectations on the low side with how the community is speaking. And maybe keep hoping those headphones will actually turn into reality because the whole world really wants them.
