Cyberpunk 2077 washed ashore into Shanghai, just like a rogue netrunner crashing into a corpo server—and that was pretty sorted. It was an evening to remember for the folks in Redland, as CDPR brought Night City into the newfound land. Lizzie’s Bar was not a pixelated dream anymore—it was there, in its full glory, with the DJ sets of @ptadamczyk, Konrad OldMoney, and Cateek. The cosplayers? Utterly insane. @kylo_gwen, @AdeleLave_Cos, and @pandazzr did more than show up in costumes: They became the characters.

And, gamers had their opinion. Some were hyped. “Best videogame of all time. Can’t wait for part II, part III, part IV…” shouted @Skelevra2. Then again, demands for New Game+ just never seemed to cease. “@CyberpunkGame Ya’ll do anything except New Game +,” joked @VeeCobra, and then @hashem3ee made his demand in Arabic (translated roughly as: “Add NG+, you sons of —”). Classic stuff.

Then came the cynics. “@CyberpunkGame You’re gonna fix cars dropping out of the sky? Draw distance that is somehow worse? No? Okay then,” sighed @justv11098. The truth hurts. But hey, at least the people loved the cosplay. “@CyberpunkGame The most amazing cosplays ever,” @hibbygames exclaimed, while @KataniaKat was in shock: “The cosplayers look EXACTLY like the characters. INSANE.”

That wasn’t the only thing with vibes; well, some people missed these vibes—@Philie1987, living in China, commented: “I never seen this advertised anywhere.” Whoops. Meanwhile, @gdev_inc kicked off a conversation on whether Cyberpunk could actually run on mobile (their argument? “Modern flagship phones have comparable raw compute power to Switch… but it’d drain your battery in 45 minutes”).

On the other hand, nobody forgot the absence of Keanu himself. “@CyberpunkGame Would’ve been funny if Keanu Reeves had dropped in 😂,” pondered @Izzy94109029. Johnny Silverhand crashing the party would have been chef kiss.

What else? Gamers are still begging for that PS5 Pro update (@ukrainian1978: “Where is it??”) and a second DLC (@KarelDonk: “Wen 2nd dlc”). But, at present, with Cyberpunk 2077‘s Shanghai event, CDPR has proven one thing—the world of Cyberpunk 2077 is not just playable; it is alive.
