EA Sports really set the hype train indeed for this latest sweepstakes, with the answers coming faster than a Lamar Jackson scramble. Thank the heavens! The official Twitter account of Madden NFL gave away a free copy of Madden NFL 26, all the while with some very passionate people talking about their teams.
Here is the scoop: All a participant needs to do is comment on their favorite NFL team; retweet the original tweet; and follow @EAMaddenNFL to win. No purchase necessary, open only for U.S. inhabitants 18-plus, ending August 18. Pretty straightforward, right? WRONG! The replies have turned into fan warfields, and one would reckon this is what transpired during an NFC Championship game, with Vikings fans going toe to toe with the Commanders.
First comes the feisty entry from Devin (@TrulyTheGhost): “VIKINGS SKOLLLLL,” because really, those Skol chants never get old. Next, Shawn (@_BmoreLikeMe) stood for the Colts with #ForTheShoe, which, well… we’re kind of digging that. Damian (@dsgamesnmore674) kept it cool with the Jaguars (bold move) and added a classy “good luck to all.”
Those Eagles fans, though, had to be something else. Stefano (@_StefanoDV_) and Mtcaliber (@mtcaliber) shouted for Philly with green heart emojis in their wake. David Kirksey (@SpiderBro2099), meanwhile, went full Black & Gold: “Obviously, the Pittsburgh Steelers! 🖤💯” No hesitation. Pure Yinzer.
Then, Rowdy (@rowdypiper39) just asked for some late birthday love for the Niners. Enrique (@SirNineT4ils) stayed classy with Patriots, and Dale Webb Jr. (@Countryboy_84) yelled out to the Seahawks like a true 12th Man. And Paras (@Paras36523659)? The Jets. Just…the Jets. We actually respect that dedication.

Broncos, Rams, Bears, Packers: one for all teams. Steven H. What does this say, then? Madden fans are through-the-wall for their teams, and the sweepstakes of EA Sports have just been an NFL pride fest. Whether you ride with the Dolphins, bleed purple for the Ravens, or are still holding out for the Commanders (bless you), one thing’s for sure: Football season comes in hot, now.
