For any pre-release hype needs, between launching Battlefield 6‘s unexpectedly massive turnout and server crashes, the list of technical difficulties and gargantuan queue procedures keeps swelling. Some are in a queue for over five minutes while others stayed on the servers because the downtime had yet to be resolved. Michael was even joking about having to wait, saying he was enjoying the game, even though he was “totally sucking at it lol.” Not-so-chuckles members DavidGreen7890, though, only chime in with “And already full servers can’t get in 😂😂.”

Queues are not all that players love to talk about. There are bugs and some conversation about balance. ValorianNetwork called out the tank armor, saying it is way too weak against infantry explosives: “It can take multiple shots from a tank but 1 RPG from a player????” Twinur_ enjoys the beta but states that the shotgun is overpowered, and then there’s lag, as gardener1661 said, “Anyone else have insane lag and rubber banding?”

The thick contracts between BF and Cod continue to balloon within the comments. Slotslv proudly stands: “Battlefield 6 might dominate COD this year,” whilst others do not quite buy it. ValorianNetwork holds up: “‘Cod killer’ they said, it won’t do such a thing. I’m enjoying the game but there’s nothing special about it.” The Chicago Guy (DappedTV) says that Battlefield must move down to Cod side by adopting elements like killstreaks and smaller game modes if it wants to stay relevant; then, Kidskull51 retorts, “I’m here to play Battlefield, not Cod.”

Anti-cheat discussion followed, with SonGoku5261 dropping a concerned emoji and saying, “They should bring a better antiCheat. There are so many cheaters already 🧐.” And let’s not forget passionate, albeit little, demands such as chemo65 begging for a minimap position change with a crying emoji.

The good buzz continues fiercely, regardless of the bad. Brent Van Herck praised the movement and gunplay, saying he “never thought a BF game would have better movement and shooting than COD.” At least the name ExuItah belongs to a player with a maximum rank in the beta looking forward to the next challenge.

So, where do we stand? Battlefield 6 beta is breaking records breaking servers and patience. Some fixing will have to be done by EA Pre-launch. But judging from all the hype, this is probably turning out to be the biggest FPS launch of the year. Hopefully, those queues will not keep breaking anyone’s spirit.
