Players have the Monster Hunter Sale coming through the Nintendo Store. The price-conscious are definitely cheap. The whole sale includes all the must-have titles: Monster Hunter Rise, Sunbreak, MHGU, and both installments of the spin-off Monster Hunter Stories series. While everyone seems to be hyped for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, the replies to the announcement tweet brew a whole wishlist of demands from the community.
First off, again the sale. If you have been sleeping on Monster Hunter, best to pull up those slackers now. Rise and Sunbreak are pure and utter bangers, and MHGU is a love letter to those long-time fans with a ridiculous roster of monsters. And the Stories games? They are adorable RPG twists on the formula. But gamers aren’t just celebrating; they are asking (okay, begging) for more.
The biggest requests importantly: bringing MHGU to Steam. User @garisgemilang bluntly voiced his opinion, saying that Capcom would be “bathed in money” if they gave the game a next-gen glistening with 120fps, ray tracing, and 4K textures. And honestly? They’re not wrong. The Switch version is really good, but the idea of taking that classic Monster Hunter experience to the level of PC polish is a dream.
Then there’s the Switch 2 crowd. Multiple players like @son_canucku and @matchapansuki are begging for 60fps patches for Rise and GU if Nintendo’s next console drops. Some are even hoping for a Wilds port, though @ThunderChanter isn’t sure the hardware could handle it without major downgrades.
Physical collectors are equally all fired up. @n1n10d0f4n unleashed a long, passionate rant tagging Nintendo, Capcom, and half the gaming industry to demand actual game cards instead of digital keys. @Felori_ chimed in to fervently agree, begging for a “100% physical version” for all future releases.
Remember Akuma? Oh, yeah, that Street Fighter collab within Monster Hunter. @chillinskey is still wishing for the ability to layer other armor sets over the Akuma set, whereas @_Searscale is like, “Bro, let it go.” The back-and-forth is hilarious but demonstrates how fiercely passionate Monster Hunter players feel about their fashion (and memes).
Then there’s @eoTacola, who just wants Frontier monsters featured in Wilds and Stories 3. NBD, right?
So, yeah, the sale is nice and all, but the real kicker? The sheer amount of requests-both some reasonable, and others wild-that Capcom now has to sift through. Will they listen? Who knows. One thing, though, is certain: Monster Hunter fans sure don’t keep their opinions to themselves.
Meanwhile, if you have been waiting a bit too long to dive into these, now is the perfect time. Just don’t expect that the replies will be happy about it.
