Epic Games has now given a sleek makeover to the legendary Battle Bus of Fortnite, and people have been completely losing their heads over it, sometimes for all the wrong reasons. A single-word tweet from the official Fortnite account, in that goddess-like voice, went thus: “perfection at every angle ✨,” while the sleek blue mini-bus continued to spin gloriously beyond everyone else’s sight. The comment section turned into an untamed frenzy of hype, demands, and utter absurdity.
To begin with-let’s talk about the bus: it looks shiny, compact-yet downright with Fortnite flavor-so some feel otherwise. ViceXXII made a glaring note-that is a major flaw: there are no headlight covers, no taillight covers; like, totally absent. They even gave a comparison picture with Rocket League. Oof. On the flipside, Harperjerk threw shade straight away: “No it’s a freaking mini bus give us a bigger bus.” Guess size really does matter.
But the drama over the Battle Bus has only just begun. They are helping players unload every single grievance they have against Fortnite. Sickie8305 launched into a tirade about how hackers are ruining the game, especially for console players that have to compete with PC cheaters. “Why can’t they make solo games matched with the same systems?” they asked. Honestly, a fair point.
Then, there are the skin beggars-um, I mean requesters. DemigodzRealm wants Naruto and Jujutsu Kaisen skinz, asking why Dragon Ball Z and My Hero Academia always hog the item shop. MewinaBubble is begging for Ms. Frizzle and Lizzy back bling. (Magic School Bus collab, anyone, Epic?) And let’s not forget Theghostofafox begging for Cowboy Bebop to come back. Despair is pretty real.
Movement animations? Yeah, that’s the whole thing. Smash7 and Barsatko1 are spearheading the movement to #BringBackOMPP (Old Movement Animations Please), claiming that the OG animations were Fortnite at its best. Barsatko was even mulling over the idea of a toggle option in the settings for those who want to look old school. Not really a bad idea.
But wait, there’s more. Some players just can’t anymore. Aepuns tweeted succinctly: “@Fortnite can you delete the game thanks.” Mood. Meanwhile, TheGoldfishFN69 called the Battle Bus video “the gayest sounding Fortnite video.” Uh…okay?
And then, a few wholesome moments snuck in. Cubeydoom simply commented, “I love Battlebus!” while EmorMetaX stated that the bus made them want to buy a real one and paint it blue. Now, that’s dedication.
What is the verdict then? This all-encompassing glow-up of the Battle Bus has gotten the Fortnite community talking, but not for the right reasons. A lot of things require Epic Games‘ attention, from missing details to skin demands and hacker complaints. In the meanwhile, the sun gods shine beyond the beautiful sight of the spinning bus.
One thing is for sure, whether Epic listens or not, the Fortnite player base keeps speaking out. And, frankly, that is what kept the game alive. Now for those Naruto skins…
