Epic Games seems to be bringing in a few changes to the Fortnite Blitz Royale mode, and already, the players are discussing it. In this recent update, the Tracking Visor got removed from the starting loadout and then replaced by the Shield Bubble Jr., with the Tracking Visors now coming from Golden Chests and Supply Drops only.
There was a bug in the game’s inventory that retained players weirdly placed in their pickaxe slot; some could only carry four items in their inventory because of it, while some could not even get rid of the visor from their inventory. Never good in trying to survive such a frantic mode like Blitz Royale.
However, while Epic went ahead to patch one issue, more popped out for players to point out. Like, why does this game freeze for so long on Xbox Series S and X, really? Or why in some lobbies there is a distinct feeling of botting? Don’t even start about the Ranked Cup glitches—some players can barely unlock the ranked umbrella even if they grind their way through it.
Then, of course, there is this debate about Shield Bubbles. Some say you need them to survive early-game, especially for a mode as crazy as Blitz. Others… not so much. And then somebody jokingly shot down that Trackin Visor for everyone at the start would have been “crazy,” which… yeah, it surely would have been.
And the rest were just random requests for a straight shot. Someone asked if Superman got vaulted (??), someone else demanded Dragon Ball content in Blitz (because why not), and a few flatly begged for XP quest fixes, which have been broken forever. Classic Fortnite community: always a cocktail of chaos and passion.
Epic is working at least somewhat on smoothing the ride, but they still have a daily list of issues players want addressed. More fixes probably soon? Most of them. Will players complain until they are here? Most certainly. That is how it is in Fortnite Universe.
So, small victory: The inventory bug got fixed, so you can carry 5 items again.
