Loving it! Fortnite made an even greater incursion into the Cyborg DLC realm, with players going crazy- mostly good, but a few where’s Raven? The announcement made by the official Fortnite Twitter set up a hype tone, and the replies? They range from celebrations to disorder, to outright demands.
To begin with, the design of the Cyborg is being highly praised. @NiaKillsAliens said Epic gave him “detail and recognition”; right, he turned out really well-looking. Yet, there are others not feeling that. @hitter2095 feels he’s “too bulky” and want “the Ray Fisher version instead.” Harsh crowd.
Here’s the thing: they branded this as a “complete” Teen Titans squad, and players were like No, it’s not. Raven is a huge gap in the roster, and so, demands for her return flooded the reply section. P1nk-Acez (@ITZElizabethx23) sums it up well: “Except I’m forever one short because Raven was exclusive to Chapter 2.” Oof. The hurt is real.
Others such as Rave the Ravenous (@Rave_Ravenous) have lost their civility: “Either re-release her or make a proper Raven.” And Spexckz (@Spexckz)? Is on full shout mode with “MAKE RAVEN A BUYABLE CHARACTER.” Energy levels are… high.
Then you got the Nightwing gang. Ryry Hunter (@Ry_Hunter) slid in, saying, “Hello Nightwing and Donna Troy please ur not done yet,” because clearly, the squad is not truly complete without them. KingNiinetalez (@KingNiinetalez) fired back, “‘COMPLETES’… Bruh, gib Nightwing.” Like, seriously, calling it complete without Dick Grayson is just brazen.
Now, toss in a little random chaos. The_Lord_Eous (@The_Lord_Eous) said, “Can’t believe they went woke and made Cyborg black smh,” which… wow. Meanwhile, MLBGriffinG (@MLBGriffinG) is begging for Red Hood: “GIVE ME RED HOOD AND MY WALLET IS YOURS.” Priorities, shp.
Oh! And then Kopachy (@Kopachy_) downright asked the real question: “Why doesn’t Cyborg have a pickaxe 💀.” The answer is legit.
So yeah, Cyborg’s in. The Teen Titans almost have the band back together. But while Raven, Nightwing, and maybe Hal Jordan are out there yell-shrieking into the void, the players are going to keep hollering at Fortnite’s Twitter replies.
On a side note, the Fantastic Four are still missing in action, and TheKillerSloth78 (@_TheKillerSloth) is over it. “I’m getting tired of the fake Fantastic Four waiting,” they joked, predicting a movie-tie-in drop. Could they be right? I guess time is the judge.
To sum up, the DC collabs keep hitting Fortnite, but the fans? Never satisfied. Let it be. Keep the pressure up, gamers. Perhaps one day, maybe, we’ll see that Raven skin. Or at least a Cyborg pickaxe.
