Since she returned, the update has been given to Fitness Boxing 3 by Nintendo free-to-act-along-with-update: from a fierce-but-warm, never allowing fitness to slip into third gear-firer afternoon. This literally brought down Twitter in tens of hundreds of fires, with gamers erupting in hyped nostalgia and cries…, well, we can just call it interesting commentary.
So who is Janice? If ever the Fitness Boxing games are missed, she’d be the trainer who just throws a hard-eyed glare down at your childish excuses and pushes you harder-far harder than your gym teacher ever did without regrets. That tweet from Nintendo described Janice as “tough, but always on your side,” whereas veteran players all along went wild with tearful joy like that of @Whiffy5, “My favorite instructor from FB2 😭💖,” and loud sentiments were echoed by @NaviTatl just as loud with, “HOLY SHIT SHES BACK.”
So, as expected, some were not in line with a fitness update. Things got a bit crazy there, one replying, @HattedGhost, “GameCube?” (bruh), @KATSENHAKER0N sarcastically demanding Nintendo to sell this for $80. Isn’t that when @LawWonderTV9 turned a boxing game update into a rant about Nintendo “jailing a YouTuber over emulators,” and accused them of being “racist against Italians”? Yep, it really happened.
For the sane majority, that means the update is everything; @PixieyDust, who has logged 170 hours in the game since April, called the timing perfect, and @Kamiyouni suggested it went well with Ring Fit Adventure with lots of sweat. And of course, there’s always @BearUNLV, already looking ahead: “waiting for Ring Fit Adventure 2 (this looks great btw).”
Of course, with the game, the question would have to be: Does it really give you a workout? Being blunt: that was the question @EastCoastTone47 asked, to which @CrunchyHyena responded, “These gals put me into a good workout. Hell, even the demo is enough to convince you.” So if all your Switch has been good for is Netflix, then maybe time to dust off those Joy-Cons and let Janice scream at you for slouching.
Side note: That one update was free, which is a miracle in 2024. No loot box. No battle pass. Just the voice of Janice, trembling leg muscles, and the aching realization of skipping leg day again.
So to recap: fitness Boxing 3 just got an injection of adrenaline, so whether veteran player working for dry action or newbie inquisitive about all the hype, this would be the best time to jump right in. We need some ice for our shoulders after writing that. Janice would approve.
