A lick of fire in a Forza Horizon tweet and the racing community is set into a frenzy. The official account teased a throwback collab that meshed a “90s neo-classic sports car” with a “drifting specialist.” No name was dropped; however, the accompanying picture (which we never got to see but surely breathed excitement into the hearts of many) has caused a major war to break in the reply section. The gamers are split: some are screaming Mustang; others swear by Nissan, whereas a handful suggest calling all four. Chaos? For sure. Fun? For sure.
What happened, though, is that Forza Horizon asked its followers this week to vote for their favorite pairs, and the replies did not disappoint. Nymostwanted23 entered saying, “damn, just give us all four,” while DominicShadow candidly started to hail the 1995 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra as his “favorite car” and gave a voting emoji along. Teneo was succinct with “Nissan is cool.”
However, some held a different opinion: Jdddubs called it out, saying it’s “kinda lame” that they had to work for cars that are now in the car pass. Oof. Myra, also, _Myranium_, lamented a bit that some cars are recycled from older games even though she admitted that the top two picks are at least new-ish variants. Then another detour comes in from Daniel Kurzer, saying “Need for Speed has committed suicide” so Forza can “start carelessly with FH6.” Harsh? Maybe. Funny? Absolutely.
The actual MVP has to be Stevio2175, who blatantly stated that V2 is “SO useful for skill points” and even linked a clip to back up the claim. Practical king. ghostspeed288 gets it and summed up the struggle with a sweating emoji and a tweet saying, “it’s so hard.” Mood.
Then follows Rafael Francisco with the ultimate Forza side-eye venture: “And about Forza Motorsport?” Ouch. Somebody is still waiting for that update.
The takeaway is that Forza Horizon has a knack for stirring the pot. Team Mustang? Team Nissan? Or ajar for the drama? The car drop this week is the topic. With players this passionate, you just know the devs are either laughing or crying right now.
Basically, if you want to talk ’90s nostalgia, drifting, or just people bickering about pixels, here stands your very moment. Now go vote – or riot, depending on your mood. Either way, Forza wins.
(And, if you missed the tweet, go check it out – the comments alone are worth an entertaining click.)
