Anime Expo 2025 ended in a whirlwind manner, and Genshin Impacters had their share of fun in Skirk’s set-based trial. More than 12,000 Travelers participated in the event, and the official Genshin Impact Twitter only shared a compilation of the coolest moments. It was an entire showcase of cosplays, memes, and, yes, a broken quest counter because… you punched it too hard, didn’t you? Classic.
Hence, @GenshinImpact’s tweet includes some of the biggest and best moments so far at the Expo: characters like Tartaglia, Columbina, and obviously Skirk, being walked around by some brilliant cosplayers. One highlight was @nikkonaner, who cosplayed Tartaglia brilliantly with such chaotic energy that everyone nearly broke down laughing into tears at the fight alongside a Captain cosplayer. Meanwhile, @_starliix’s Columbina was so beautiful that it was featured in an official Hoyo video, with fangirl screams filling the replies.
But it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Some players remarked there were glitches on the last day, such as the quest counters breaking down, so to speak! @Tsukikira51 said someone must’ve punched it too hard, which… honestly, coming from a Genshin event, sounds about right. And then the usual pleaded for primogems began erupting, with server transfers being demanded… again. @Cyberfox64 has been on DAY 345 of asking-respect for that!
That alone sent the wild theories into an absolute frenzy. The countdown cosplayer apparently made it into the recap, which had many losing it in speculation of him becoming playable soon. @F4TUII and @atolerateitstan were already sewing his appearance in the next teaser, while others just want Chongyun to finally get a skin. Priorities, you know?
Those wild theories really brought some colour to the shimmer. It was the first Genshin event for newbies like @jingliluauthor, and @too_much_yike was absolutely stoked to see their cosplay featured. Even some bitter comments from @Denzel78855879 couldn’t bring the spirits down.
So yeah, Anime Expo 2025 was another win for Genshin. Now… if Hoyoverse could pipe in and make those 2000 primos @Tera1Bite asked for, well, we wouldn’t have to keep dreaming.
