Epic Games has put out a patch for the Battle Bus. It sounds small, but the community is already spun into a frenzy of theories and demands. iFireMonkey’s tweet made it clear that it concerned a fix for players who never particularly got the Battle Bus set up correctly in the first place. That, of course, made gamers bicker about the more exciting matter of free cars or Batmobiles purportedly coming into the game.
With that, the general gist is: Battle Bus patch is out; those who missed it out previously can now get in on the good thing. But just glance at the replies because it’s just pure hype, salt, and confusion. Just yesterday, gamers wanted some answers about the free car leak, while others were just not that impressed. User POP brought one of the sickest takes: “Nice I didn’t care.” Ouch.
“The Ripper pickaxe drama, however: somebody roared, ‘THEY PUT THE RIPPER IN FORTNITE BEFORE THE TAKUMI??’ Which is some form of vehicular betrayal.” Yeah: mood. The Takumi-fan-favorite car from Rocket League – still not in Fortnite, and players are going nuts, and others want the Batmobile in the shop ASAP, especially since some players got the titanium white version for free through the Epic Games Store.
SBHashtronaut, however, doesn’t appear to be on the bandwagon. He called it “HORRIBLE” and stated it was a good thing they overslept. Ouch. Meanwhile, Juan dragged Epic for waiting three weeks to fix Battle Bus, coupled with facepalm emoji usage. The struggle is real.
Then comes the mysterious pickaxe. Somebody dropped a screenshot with the caption “Where is this pickaxe?” and things went downhill from there. Some said it was bugged and got fixed with the update; others think it might get scrapped; while the whole debate was on over whether content creators actually did get it early. Classic Fortnite chaos.
Ranked cups are still a talking point. ToupouButtercup just wants those to be fixed while some are still waiting for the Battle Bus to actually show up in their inventories. Xen Grxnt outright asked, “Well, what if u didn’t get it at all..” which got answers from “same” to “blame the hype train.”
What next then? The players would really want either the Batmobile or some free car to drop in the shop at some point soon, especially since the files keep really teasing it. For now, the Battle Bus is working finally, with a wave of hype, frustration, absurdity, and wild speculation sweeping the Fortnite fam.
In short, one thing was fixed by Epic; players want a whole lot more. And with how fast leaks and rumors are passed in the modern world, we might just see another update right before the week is over. Stay tuned; the Fortnite drama is far from over.
