Perhaps Kujou Sara is regarded amongst one of the most beloved characters of the game. Players have in fact been going insane about her birthday celebrations. A bombshell tweet from the official Genshin Impact Twitter accounted for Sara alongside five Raiden Shogun golden statues, and the internet is still healing never.
The tweet showed Sara care for the Statues of Her Excellency, Almighty Narukami Ogosho, God of Thunder (yes, that is the entire title) with some very serious statue care tips: lacquerware needs to have its water humidity and temperature monitored at all times. Her devotion to her god is just… scary.
Birthday wishes poured into the replies, along with some quite lewd declarations of love. One yelled, “KUJOU NOTICE ME SENPAI,” while another flatly stated in all caps, “TE AMO LOCA.” The thirst was real, with a bunch of people claiming the ability to “fix her” (spoiler: she does not need fixing).

The chaotic energy peaked when users entertained the notion of how she might have amassed her collection. “SHE PROBABLY ARRESTED PEOPLE AND LET THEM OFF IF THEY GAVE THEIR STATUE” was one funny thought. Others just could not help continuing to point out the… special relationship that Sara seems to have with these statues. “gay ass is so happy to spend her birthday around raiden statues?” one savvy fan called out.
Amid the madness, there were a few appreciation posts of Sara tossed in, including some fan art and heartfelt birthday wishes. Props were given to the Genshin Impact TikTok account, encouraging players to go there for more Sara goodness.
The beauty of this entire birthday celebration lies in the fact that it so completely defines Sara herself: devout, meticulous, and near-obsessive when it comes to Raiden Shogun. The detail on the artwork and the accompanying lore of statue maintenance have hijacked completely the entire player base around miHoYo’s little finger.
Right now, as I say this, literally dozens of more comments ought to start pouring in at refreshing the tweets every few seconds to cause around 50 new notifications. What is for sure is Kujou Sara has become that very character most iconically portrayed by Genshin Impact. Whether they love her for fighting, loyalty to her until her last breath, or general chaotic bisexual energy, today is a day worth celebrating for Sara.
