The Fortnite Twitter account continues with the teasing of the ongoing fight between Superman and Mr. Terrific skins-and the gamers are losing their minds over it, sometimes not in the best ways. The official Fortnite account simply let through one for the ages: “Terrific or Super- who doesn’t like a little friendly competition when saving the world?” followed by an obvious image of the showdown between the two DC Comics characters. Some stayed really hyped about the whole thing; while others felt disgusted with Epic for missed rewards, glitches, and their unanswered demands.
About the skins. The Superman skin has had some talk ever since it was placed around, especially with the Alien Invasion Battle Pass. Yet other users such as @toybirdy21 point out very few inconsistencies stating that, you know, newer Superman skin can’t even perform the alternate dive animation with the Daily Planet glider that the original one could. Then we have @VictorNotch who is bitter about Mr. Terrific being skinned before Dante from Devil May Cry. I mean bro-whhhhyyyyyy???
But the skin drama stretches far beyond which skin looks better; larger still is about whether players can even get them. Yet another pair of voices claims to have unlocked their Superman rewards, only to have them suddenly disappear: poof, gone, no trace of them in the locker. @BenjaminHyland3 went straight in for the classic epic roast: “Amazing when half the community that bought and paid for the battle pass can’t use it or find it in their locker.” Ouch.
Then, of course, there was the treadmill emote. Or better said, the absence of it. Some players, including @RareOoz3 and @levijoshuarowe2, are begging for a shop drop. How hard can it be to run in place while waiting for the next storm circle? @k0ntroversial is entering day 606 (yes, you did read that correctly) of asking for this rotating mini-map option. At this point, it’s no longer a request; it’s more of a vendetta.
And now you cannot ignore his random, albeit passionate, demands. @gabr13LS0mA is loudly backing up Hawkgirl, @Yosuke1512_ is giving his applause for Nejire from My Hero Academia, and @Emily77864553 is on board fem-Lofting a Fortnite x Aespa collab. Chaos is real, and Epic’s silence is killing the movement.
Now that being said, what’s the verdict? Some players, for example, were just enjoying the showdown between the superheroes, with @ToasterSalty just saying: “Both skins are 🔥.” For others, some even to be having fun, there were glitches and false promises. Locker glitches: will they ever be fixed? Will the treadmill emote ever be a thing? And, most importantly, will Dante ever be announced for Fortnite? Who knows. What is certain is that the Fortnite community does not keep quiet when it is angry.
Yeah, so the options are just waiting and hoping and then bombarding @Fortnite with replies until one is acknowledged. Or at the very least, until that treadmill emote arrives.
