2019, A Year Of Wonderfully Weird Monitors And The Future Has Arrived

It’s just the second week of 2019 and there are already a lot of beautiful yet odd monitors that can be found at offices and homes. The trend is already futuristic and in the coming years, it’s not hard to see that things will become better or we can also say that things could become stranger.

There’s always a lot of beautiful monitor displays each year at CES or Consumer Electronics Show. Whether it is the new 75-inch TV with MicroLed feature or a combination of features of TVs and monitors, displays will always be the main attraction of CES. It’s the same for this year’s event where there are huge TVs, ultra-wide monitors, portable displays, and there are units that can be put on one’s desk that’s really saving space. There are even some innovations for standard laptop screens.

While the current displays are around 24-27 inches, ultra-wide displays are here to give people screens that are considered wide yet portable. Some of the brands that give people quality 49-inch ultra-wide displays, which are primarily for people who love video games are LG, Philips, Dell, and Samsung.

Asus has shown its 49-inch super wide gaming display this week. Lenovo, which is considered the bigger computer maker in the world, has also joined the super wide display trend with their 43.4-inch display and its target consumers are businesses and gamers where they have the option to run side-by-side video inputs. It’s just hard to find space to settle a huge monitor on a desk but it’s a dream for anyone who likes to multitask so those who need big monitors will find ways to become ultra-productive.

Manufacturers are cozier at pushing its consumers to buy 50-inch displays for their daily desk use. It’s not for everyone but there’s a target market for that. NVidia is also planning to ship a humongous 65-inch gaming monitor for PC video gamers. Microsoft has a vision that everyone will work or play on really huge monitors and it seems like that future is already happening.

Those big screens seemed weird when used by Fox News on their newsroom. But in the future, people might laugh at their small 27-inch displays thinking how they’ve done work with those tiny screens. Those who don’t have space for 69 or 45-inch monitors, Samsung is offering new displays that can be folded flat on a wall.

Technology will advance no matter what we do. Most users will embrace big monitors on their daily life and workflow but there will still be those who’ll remain cozy working with medium size screens such as there will be those who are more comfortable at 4-inches mobile phones.
